What size generator do I actually need?
It depends on your total running load and, just as importantly, your largest motor and how it starts. Motor starting current can be several times the running current, which is what usually decides the rating. Send us your equipment list and we'll work it out.
What enclosure will my site need?
Enclosure choice depends on where the set is going — indoors or outdoors, how close it sits to occupied areas, and the space you have. We'll advise on the right option once we know the location.
Standby or prime power — what's the difference?
Standby sets are rated for backup during grid outages. Prime rated sets are built to run for extended hours as a main supply. The rating you need affects both model choice and cost, so it's worth being clear early.
Can you help if I already have a generator?
Yes. Customers often come to us when an existing set is undersized, ageing, or no longer matches an expanded load. We'll look at what you have and advise honestly on whether replacement is warranted.
